Think of the best promotion you have done in the last twelve months and analyse why it was so successful using the following five questions.
1) What is the best promotion you have done?
2) How did you find the time to run it properly?
3) What were the main obstacles you had to overcome to ensure that it was successful?
4) Who within your store was involved in the promotion and what were their roles?
5) Why do you think it was so successful?
Discuss this with your team. It will generate some excitement and help you all to focus on taking a different approach by learning the lessons from other successful events and applying them to making this a spectacularly successful Christmas.
